Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit bimsomething.com, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short and truthful: this website is built to respect your privacy.

The website is operated by BIM Something Sàrl, Ch. Pauvre Jacques 27, 1630 Bulle, Switzerland (the data controller, referred to below as we, us or our). For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at info@bimsomething.com or +41 77 496 10 26.

No cookies, no tracking

This website does not use cookies. It runs no analytics scripts, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social-media trackers, and it does not profile you or make automated decisions about you. Because we set no cookies and use no tracking, no cookie-consent banner is required.

Data we process

Server logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical access logs when a page is served. These may include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time. They are used only to operate and secure the website and to produce aggregated, anonymous visitor statistics. They are not linked to your identity and are not used to track you as an individual.

Information you send us. If you contact us by email or phone, or book a call through the external scheduling link, we receive the information you choose to provide (such as your name, company, email, phone number and the content of your message). We use it only to reply to you and, where relevant, to discuss a possible engagement.

Legal basis

We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and the corresponding grounds under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection). We process the information you send us in order to answer your request and take steps at your request prior to a possible contract.

Who receives data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. A limited number of service providers process technical data on our behalf or to deliver the site:

Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland) hosts the website and its server logs, in Switzerland.

Bunny Fonts (BunnyWay, EU) delivers the web fonts. Your browser requests them directly, which transmits your IP address. It is a privacy-friendly service that sets no cookies.

jsDelivr (open-source content delivery network) delivers a stylesheet used by the site, which likewise transmits your IP address to deliver the file.

If you click the booking link, Calendly LLC (United States) processes your scheduling data under its own privacy policy. Links to LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Telegram open those third-party services, each governed by its own policy.

International transfers

The website and its logs are hosted in Switzerland. Delivering the fonts and stylesheet may transmit your IP address to servers in the EU or on a global content delivery network. If you choose to use the booking link, your data is processed by Calendly in the United States. We do not otherwise transfer your personal data abroad.

How long we keep data

Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period for security purposes, then deleted or anonymised. Correspondence (emails and messages) is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, and is deleted on request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@bimsomething.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), and in the EU or EEA, your local data protection authority.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we process against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

Applicable law

This policy is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to visitors in the European Union or European Economic Area, we comply with it as well.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or the law. The current version is published on this page and is effective as of 18 July 2026.
